The Awakening

On the outside, Andreas seemed like a successful tech entrepreneur and investor. On the inside, he was completely empty. Consumed by relentless anxiety, self-doubt, and self-sabotage, he battled depression, alcoholism, and suicidal thoughts.

For five days, he lay in a dark room, torn between life and death. When he finally chose life, he witnessed the spirit of alcohol leave him. In that moment, he realized: "There is another world beyond this one."

And so began his search for the truth.

Determined to Find the Truth

Determined to find the truth about life, addiction, and mental health, Andreas embarked on an intense journey. From scientific research to exploring plant medicines and indigenous healing traditions, he sought answers from every possible angle.

He worked with leading professors in addiction and mental health and developed digital solutions that are now helping thousands of people worldwide.

Yet, he knew there was more to discover—an ultimate truth, the most effective method for healing addiction and mental suffering.

That’s when he found Iboga and Bwiti.

And that’s where the search ended. Not just for the cure for addiction, but for the deeper truth about life itself.

Iboga and Bwiti

Determined to reclaim his life, Andreas set a series of personal goals—and with the help of Iboga, he successfully achieved them all:

Trained under 10th Generation Shaman Moughenda in the jungle of Gabon, Andreas was approved by the Spirit of Iboga and the Missoko Bwiti tradition to work with Iboga.

He was given the Bwiti name Ikalu, meaning "Flipping negative to positive."
